Rehearsal Dinner

4:29 PM

I am so excited right now!
We officially have our rehearsal dinner venue!
18 Seaboard is one of Brandon and my favorite restaurants and we're thrilled to be working with them for our rehearsal dinner. Besides for being delicious, they take pride in having fresh ingredients, most of which hale from right here in North Carolina.

Here's what our menu is going to look like:
(Sorry in advance because you'll be droolin' when your done)

First Course
Carolina coast she-crab soup with sweet sherry reduction
Grilled asparagus chopped salad with zucchini, bacon, bleu cheese, and green peppercorn puree
Spinach salad with heriloom tomatoes, pickled wax beans, basil balsamic venaigrette, and Ice Corn bruschetta crouton

Second Course
Tanglewood Farms chicken with a goat cheese, spinach, red pepper stuffing, plantation rice and walnut pesto
Moore Brothers' barbecue beef brisket with summer squash, white acre peas, and goat cheese mashed potatoes
Grilled Atlantic salmon filet with cheddar cheese grits, sauteed spinach and champagne tarragon butter
Three-bean cakes with zucchini, squash, spinach and a spicy roasted garlic and basil vinaigrette
Cracklin' pork shank with blue cheese grits, spinach, and a green tomato marmalade

Third Course
Grooms' Cake

In other wedding related news, I met with Elissa Keno yesterday. Elissa is not only the person who's wedding served as my original inspiration for an outdoor tent wedding, but her husband is fraternity brother's with Brandon! Small world! It was wonderful getting to meet with her and play some of the ideas that are in my head off of her. After meeting with her, I feel like I'm finding inspiration pictures left and right! WED in Charleston gets the credit for these beauties.

What do y'all think?
